Naidia Douglas, Director of Communications

 

Naidia Douglas holds an MBA in Marketing and a Master of Science in Communications. She is a passionate communicator and marketing professional with over ten years of experience helping organizations connect with their audiences meaningfully. She hails from Jamaica and has worked in multiple roles in community health, food insecurity, telecommunications, art, history, and publishing. 


Her career began at the Institute of Jamaica, where she rose to Director of Public Relations & Development. There, she led a team in executing events, creating marketing collateral, and managing public relations efforts, including press releases and media appearances that amplified the organization’s visibility.


As the Director of Communications at CEEJH Inc., she leads efforts to raise awareness about environmental justice and bring CEEJH’s vision and mission to life through website development, content development, digital and social engagement, writing articles, designing newsletters, and supporting outreach engagement. Whether collaborating with partners, managing the website, or developing digital content, Naidia is committed to using her skills to promote equity and justice in the environmental sphere. 


Outside of work, Naidia is a mother who enjoys new adventures with her son. She has a passion for historical architecture and historical storytelling. She enjoys reading, journaling, and going to the gym.
