Albert is the Environmental Best Practice Coordinator for Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation, where he leads sustainability initiatives, tracks environmental metrics, and advances the county’s Climate Action Plan. He also volunteers as the DMV Program Coordinator for Latino Outdoors, a non-profit that connects Latino communities and leadership with nature and outdoor experiences. Albert is committed to increasing Latinx community access to public lands and educating students about environmental career opportunities. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Chesapeake Regional Fellow for the Environmental Leadership Program and leads the DEIJ subcommittee supporting the establishment of the Chesapeake National Recreation Area. Albert earned his Bachelor’s in Sociology from Texas State University and his Master’s in Sociology from New Mexico State University.
