I am a multiple award-winning multimedia journalist based in Kenya, accredited by the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), an independent national institution mandated to regulate and uphold media standards as outlined in the country’s Constitution. A holder of a Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Eldoret Aviation Training Institute, I am a member of the Political Journalists Association, the Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK), and the Kenya Correspondents Association. My dedication to impactful journalism has earned me numerous prestigious awards, including African Journalist Gender Equality Award (2021) – Organized by the African Women’s Development and Communications Network (FEMNET), a Pan-African feminist network. Currently, I work as a reporter for People Daily, Mt Kenya Times , The Sun Weekly , where I specialize in audio editing, scriptwriting, voicing, and feature/news writing.
