I’m passionate about using ethical supply chains to make a lasting difference and dedicated to ongoing professional development. With more than eight years of expertise in supplier and stakeholder management, capacity building, sustainable practice implementation, and traceability—specifically in the textile and manufacturing industries—I am a specialist in supply chains and sustainability.
Working with international stakeholders in Pakistan, China, India, Bangladesh, and Europe, I have effectively led and supported projects in sustainable cotton programs, supplier onboarding, compliance assurance, and responsible sourcing. My areas of experience include integrated pest management, regenerative agriculture, life cycle assessments (LCA), Chain of Custody compliance, certifications, and environmental impact reduction techniques.
I manage Better Cotton’s interactions with supply chain participants throughout Pakistan to implement the Chain of Custody Standard and traceability mechanisms. Every year, I supervise training and reporting for more than 300 ginners and manufacturers, helping Pakistan maintain its position as one of the major producers of Better Cotton, accounting for around 15% of the licensed Better Cotton volume worldwide.
Additionally, I led the Primark Sustainable Cotton Programme in Pakistan, which encourages cotton growers to adopt socially and environmentally responsible practices. Thousands of farmers have benefited from the initiative, with measurable improvements in yields, input efficiency, and livelihoods.
