Bio:

Kevin Hernandez is finishing his MPA from Villanova University where he is focusing on nonprofit management. He is a graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied marketing & communications. His experiences are in the intersection of politics and climate. Most recently, he helped lead When We All Vote’s texting mobilization efforts, where he supported volunteers to reach over 12 million voters across the country. He was part of Mercy for Animals’ LEAFS Fellowship & Azul’s 2024 Rising Leaders Initiative. Through his work at Green 2.0, he wrote “Embracing your Heritage Doesn’t Mean You Need To Eat Meat” where he advocated for embracing a plant-based diet by connecting his Mexican heritage to the environmental effects of animal consumption. In his free time, you can find him enjoying nature, cooking a plant-based recipe or spending time with his pets. He is based in the suburbs of Chicago.
