Meli (she/they, ella/elles) is a dedicated environmental justice advocate who understands the intersections of health, racism and climate. Following the tracks of the original caretakers of the land, Meli believes that harvesting water plays a vital role in how we should approach climate solutions in the Sonoran desert. She is currently a program manager by day and in her free time teaches donations-based yoga in community spaces, because she knows how important accessible movement is in marginalized communities.
