Evenings with Environmentalists Part 2: The Environment & Public Health
This is part 2 of "Evenings with Environmentalists," an informal speaker series, hosted by JHU Office of Sustainability and Homewood Recycling, that addresses the impacts of important environmental issues through the lens of environmental justice. During this event, we explored the intersection of environmental justice and public health from researchers working on the issue. This event was an intimate conversation with JHU alumni Yukyan Lam, public health scientist at the Natural Resource Defense Council, and Dr. Sacoby Wilson, associate professor at the MD Institute for Applied Environmental Health at the University of Maryland.
