HBCU/CBO gulf coast Equity Consortium

Dr. Sacoby Wilson proudly provides guidance and technical assistance as an advisory board member for the HBCU/CBO Gulf Coast Equity Consortium. The Consortium, led by Dr. Robert Bullard (Texas Southern University) and Dr. Beverly Wright (Deep South Center for Environmental Justice), was established to address health, well-being, equity and environmental issues impacting vulnerable kids/families in select Gulf Coast states. Faculty from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) are working with grassroot organizations in communities of concern using Dr. Wright’s communiversity model of engagement and collaboration.
